A Tribute to Princess Diana:
Princess Diana was killed in a high-speed car crash on
8-31-97, along with her driver, Henri Paul, and her boyfriend, Dodi Fayed.
Her bodyguard, Trevor Rees-Jones, has been released from the hospital, but doesn't remember much about the crash. The investigation has now included looking for a car that may have contributed to the crash. Millions of people watched as her
body was laid to rest on 9-6-97. The funeral was the most memorable in
history, being broadcast on every major television station, and causing
more controversy as her brother spoke. The world has been changed as a
result of her death and the issues surrounding it.
Because I, too, am saddened by this terrible tragedy, I would
like to make a small tribute page for her. These pictures were taken from
the internet, and if anyone objects to their being posted here, please
e-mail me at: [email protected]
and they will be removed. Also, if you have pictures
you would like to contribute, you may also e-mail me at the above address
with them, and if they are your personal photos, I will credit them as
yours.
A Personal message to Diana from me: I have learned from your death, and I, nor my family will never buy a tabloid paper. We didn't before, but with what happened, we will never now!

Lyrics to "Goodbye England's Rose
Goodbye England's Rose;
may you ever grow in our hearts.
You were the grace that placed itself
where lives were torn apart.
You called out to our country,
and you whispered to those in pain.
Now you belong to heaven,
and the stars spell out your name.
And it seems to me you lived your life
like a candle in the wind.
never fading with the sunset
when the rain set in.
And your footsteps will always fall here,
along England's greenest hills;
your candle's burned out long before
your legend ever will.
Loveliness we've lost;
these empty days without your smile.
This torch we'll always carry
for our nation's golden child.
Even though we try,
the truth brings us to tears;
all our words cannot express
the joy you brought us through the years.
And it seems to me you lived your life
like a candle in the wind;
never fading with the sunset
when the rain set in.
And your footsteps will always fall here,
along England's greenest hills;
your candle's burned out long before
your legend ever will.
Goodbye England's rose;
may you ever grow in our hearts.
You were the grace that placed itself
where lives were torn apart.
Goodbye England's rose;
from a country lost without your soul,
who'll miss the wings of your compassion
more than you'll ever know.
And it seems to me you lived your life
like a candle in the wind;
never fading with the sunset
when the rain set in.
and your footsteps will always fall here,
along England's greenest hills;
your candle's burned out long before
your legend ever will.
